About me

I was born and raised in Palermo. After high school, I left my hometown and moved to Milan to study Communication design at the Politecnico of Milan. I’ve always been interested in the intersections between design and technology, and during my last year of Politecnico I sterded exploring the field of Interaction Design.

In 2016, I enrolled at FabAcademy at Opendot, a digital fabrication course where I learnt to design and fabricate a circuit, to program a firmware, to use digital fabrication tools such as laser cutter, cnc milling, vinyl cutters and 3d printers and how to integrate these processes in artisanal practices like molding, casting, and composite. This experience – along with the 3 years working at dotdotdot – made me become the Interaction Designer I am now.
